Director Ram Gopal Varma recently speculated on social media that the sequel to Dhurandhar – titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge – could be bigger than the first film. Reacting to the statement, actor Danish Pandor, who plays Uzair Baloch in the film, said that he believes the sequel actually has the potential to raise the bar further.

It has the material to be a bigger hit. There are a lot of things happening in the story and it is beautifully written by Aditya sir.” While he refrained from revealing more details, the actor described Dhurandhar 2 in one word – “Crazy”.

Danish also spoke about one of the most emotional parts of the film.
According to him, the scene inspired by the 2008 Mumbai attacks was particularly difficult to film.Recalling that moment, he said the atmosphere on the sets became heavy when Major Iqbal’s character turned back and the cheers started. “It was emotionally exhausting for everyone,” Danish said, adding that the impact deepens when the character played by Ranveer Singh realizes the gravity of the situation and that he cannot undo what happened.
Danish explained that hearing the actual vocal tone associated with the attack made the moment even more disturbing. “When you hear the actual conversation between terrorists and their officials, you feel horrified,” he said. “We heard about it earlier through journalists, but listening to the real recording makes you more sympathetic.”He added: “As a character I had to play my part, but as a Danish character, I felt bad.”
“Reading the script left me in awe.”
The actor also recalled his first reaction after reading the script of the film Dhurandhar, which he directed

. Danish said he was asked to read the script only in the office and was not allowed to take it home.“I went to the office for two days and read it there. I must have read it three or four times. It was a big script but I finished it in one go because it was so much fun,” he said, adding that working with the film crew and director was a blessing.

Danish calls Akshaye Khanna “puzzle”
Talking about his co-star Akshaye Khanna, Danish described the actor as someone who carries a certain aura of intrigue.“If Akshaye Khanna had a mood, I would have been less ambiguous,” Danish said. “From any time I spent with him on set, he seemed like a man of few words and someone who was always deep in thought.”
“Ranveer Singh is pure love”
Talking about sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh, Danish said that most of his scenes were with the actor and described the experience as very positive.“Almost 95 percent of my scenes were with him and he really took care of me,” Danish said. “He offers suggestions and input and allows the other actors to shine. This only happens when a person is confident in his craft.”According to Denmark, Ranveer’s supportive nature on the sets made the shooting experience unforgettable.
