An Indian national was among four people injured in Dubai on Wednesday after drones crashed near the city’s airport. The Dubai Media Office said that the Indian citizen was moderately injured in the attack.

In addition to the Indian, two Ghanaian citizens and a Bangladeshi citizen were injured in the attack that occurred near Dubai International Airport.

Authorities said flight operations were continuing.
Dubai International Airport, home to long-haul airline Emirates, is the world’s busiest international travel hub.
Officials are working to restore and maintain the flight schedule even as the airport is targeted during the ongoing conflict.
Iran has launched missiles and drones at targets across the Gulf, including oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and a ship off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, while Israel and the United States have carried out strikes across the Islamic Republic.
Saudi Arabia and several other countries said their air defenses intercepted several drone attacks.
Separately, Australian Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said on Wednesday that six members of the Iranian women’s soccer team would remain in Australia. He added that one of the band members who had previously been granted asylum has since changed her mind and is now planning to return to Iran.
