Travis Kelce made headlines this week after he seemingly confirmed his return for another NFL season amid wedding preparations with his pop star fiancée, Taylor Swift. In his latest conversation, Travis talked about the role his future wife played in motivating his career decision.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce ended months of speculation about his return to the Kansas City Chiefs by saying: “Let’s go! We’re making another run, baby, and the Chiefs are making moves, Pat.”
“Explaining how Swift’s passion for her own music career inspired him to return to the venue after a short step back, Kelsey said: “We share the same love for what we do, and we had this… desire.”
“I still love this game. I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out, just playing the game, you know, and I think my best chance was playing for the Chiefs again and restarting this thing with Pat Mahomes and Coach Reid.”

Yeah, of course that’s motivating. That motivates anyone to see it, let alone my fiancée, and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me, something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done either.'”
