At least six people were killed and several others were injured after a bus caught fire on Tuesday evening (local time) in the town of Kerzers, known in French as Quieter, in the western Swiss canton of Fribourg, police said.Emergency services launched a major rescue operation at the scene, and local media reported that a helicopter had been deployed to assist responders. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. A video clip published by local media showed the bus on fire, while a resident reported that he saw a thick column of smoke rising from the area.
