Donald Trump urged oil tankers to

US President Donald Trump called on tanker crews sailing through the Strait of Hormuz, in southern Iran, to “show some courage” as global oil prices rise, saying there is “nothing to be afraid of” after the joint US-Israeli operation against the regime.Global oil prices reached more than $100 a barrel early Monday amid fears of long-term disruption to energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, a major shipping route. Nearly a fifth of the world’s oil normally passes through the narrow waterway, but shipping has largely stopped since the conflict began more than a week ago, Mediaite reported.US-Israeli strikes against Iranian military facilities resulted in strikes from Iran, in the form of drones and missiles, against neighboring oil and gas producing countries, some of which were the location of US military bases in the region.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade revealed on Fox & Friends on Monday that the president urged oil tankers that used the route to “get to it” as he said the Iranian regime’s ability to attack ships had weakened. He said that during the call, he asked the president how he planned to “get prices down,” and then quoted Trump’s words:“Tell those tankers to get to it, we’ve destroyed most of their launch pads,” he says.

And this is exactly what he said: “These ships must pass through the Strait of Hormuz and show some courage. There is nothing to be afraid of.” [The Iranians] “They have no navy. We sank all their ships.”He went on to say, “Look, there is danger in the region, the region is volatile, and their launch pads, there are only about 150 left, and that’s only about 20% of the total, and they can’t replenish, and they can’t produce more.” We are in the region and we need to act quickly on all these types of attacks. The co-host further explained that he believed the Trump administration was sending “some additional naval assets” to escort the tankers, but he saw that a tanker traveled through the strait on Sunday “without any issue.”“He’s saying, ‘Come on, guys. Do it!'” Kilmeade concluded, summing up Trump’s call.
