An Iranian missile attack on Israel on Sunday left an Indian citizen injured and undergoing surgery in Tel Aviv.

This came on the ninth day of the war between the Israeli-American alliance and Iran, which began on February 28, and has since almost escalated into a comprehensive regional war in West Asia.
An Indian man was seriously injured after shrapnel from an Iranian missile hit him in the neck. He underwent surgery at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv and his condition is now stable.
A hospital spokesperson told news agency PTI: “He arrived yesterday in a critical condition due to a neck injury. Ichilov’s medical team fought to save his life, and he underwent a long surgery. Fortunately, his condition is now stabilizing.”
The officials cited in the report said that the Indian embassy in Tel Aviv “is monitoring the situation and visited the hospital to check on his health.”
The officials explained that the embassy is also in touch with Indian nationals in Israel regularly amid the ongoing hostilities in the region.
So far, at least 11 people have been killed in Israel due to Iranian missile attacks, with Iran not stopping its missile launches even though Tel Aviv claimed that its forces had destroyed most of Iran’s missile launchers.
No Indian died in Saudi Arabia
after Saudi authorities said on Sunday that an Indian citizen was among the two people who died when a military projectile struck a residential complex belonging to a maintenance and cleaning company in Al-Kharj, and the Indian embassy in the country clarified that there were no Indian deaths in the incident.
The mission said in a post on social media: “It is a matter of relief that no Indians were killed in the unfortunate incident that occurred in Al-Kharj yesterday evening.”
The embassy added that an Indian citizen was injured in an accident on Sunday and is undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
The embassy said that it had contacted the relevant Saudi authorities regarding the matter, adding that Counselor (Community Welfare) Y. Saber visited Al-Kharj on Sunday evening and met with the injured Indian citizen involved in the accident.
The Saudi Civil Defense also clarified that the person who was initially believed to be an Indian was actually a Bangladeshi national.
