Netflix has been renewed Night agent For season 4, the broadcast announced Friday. This movie will be shot in Los Angeles. Season 3 was filmed in New York City and Istanbul, Turkey.
Series star Gabriel Basso and creator/director Sean Ryan have all kinds of stamps in their passports.

“We haven’t officially been cast yet, but we’re actively working in the writers room. So I just want to be very clear that there’s no news to report on that front,” Ryan said. “We’re just focusing on the creative, and when it’s time for Netflix to resume, they’ll let you know.”

Here’s the synopsis for Season 3 of the series (read spoilers here and here): “After the explosive events of Season 2, Night Agent Peter Sutherland is called upon to track down a young Treasury agent who has fled to Istanbul with sensitive government information after killing his boss. This sets off a chain of events as Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding hitmen, while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees. “And it causes them to be killed in the process.”
