‘Achievement cannot be described in words’: Haryana CM Saini calls BJP leader after son Akansh secures third rank in UPSC

Haryana BJP leader Krishan Dole on Thursday received a phone call from Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini after his son Akansh Dole secured third position in the UPSC CSE exam. A video of their interaction has also surfaced online where Krishan Dhoul can be heard saying that this is possible with the Prime Minister’s “blessing”.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday announced the results of the Civil Services Examination 2025. Anuj Agnihotri topped the exam, while Rajeshwari Suvi M and Akansh Dhol secured second and third positions respectively.

Dhull, who is the son of Haryana BJP leader Krishan Dhull, is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). He did his early education in Chandigarh and is currently working with the Indian Audit Examination Service.

In the video, CM Saini can be heard congratulating Dhull on his son’s achievement. In response, Dhu says that this was only possible thanks to his blessings.

Dhull also says that he is waiting to receive blessings from the Chief Minister personally and that his son Akansh has brought pride to the region. Krishan Dhoul is a former in-charge of the Haryana Child Welfare Board.

Meanwhile, Krishan Dhoul also spoke to ANI about his son’s achievements, saying, “I can’t even put into words his achievement. The hard work and focus he has put in over the past eight years is commendable. He has proven that if a child constantly sets a goal and works hard, success is certain.”

958 candidates qualified for the exam, and its results were announced on Friday.

The civil service examination is conducted annually in three stages: preliminary, main and interview. This is done to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
