Small bow budkast — a recovery-inspired series launched by Gawker alum AJ Daulerio — aims to reach a new audience by relaunching as YouTube’s first video podcast.

The move, which marks the latest podcast to be filmed as public attention has shifted, comes nearly five years after Daulerio’s debut Little bow as an audio series inspired by his newsletter of the same name which was in turn inspired by his experience in drug rehabilitation.

“From the beginning, Little bow “It has expanded conversations around recovery and mental health, creating opportunities for our guests to tell parts of their personal challenges and triumphs that they wouldn’t share anywhere else. This relaunch with support from AND Media and Rabbit Grin Productions represents an exciting new chapter for the show and the community that has grown around it,” Daulrio explains.

He offers to his collaborators at Rabbit Grin, Rob Holysz and Jeff Porter: “We are excited to work with AJ to bring Little bow A unique recovery experience for a new audience. These are important conversations, and AJ has a way of making them feel real and accessible. Helping stories like this reach more people is exactly the kind of work we love doing.

To motivate the relaunch, Daulerio sat down with Gene Sterger, the former comedian, host, and television personality Sports Illustrated Columnist and staff writer. “In 2010, her life was ruined,” Dolerio wrote in the episode’s official description. “Since then, Jane and I have rebuilt our friendship (with the help of a dog), and I’m grateful to her for coming on the show. We talk about public shame, tolerance, and how hard it is to let go of what other people think.”

Future episodes are expected to explore addiction and sobriety “beyond stereotypes, identity and ego shifts, burnout and grief, car accidents and life’s twists and turns and the messy, funny and uncomfortable realities of being human.” Previous guests Little bow Features How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor and New York Times bestselling author Mary H. K. Choi (Permanent record, emergency contact), American fantasy Academy Award-winning director Cord Jefferson and Fish frontman Trey Anastasio.

New episodes of Little Bow Podcast You can download it every Wednesday and can be found on any podcast platform or on the series’ official YouTube channel.
