At 68 years old, veteran actor Sunny Deol shows no signs of slowing down. This year marks the actor’s best run, with five consecutive releases, according to latest reports. After the massive box office success of his last release, ‘Border 2’, which collected over Rs.
480 crore worldwide, the action star has now officially started shooting for his upcoming thriller ‘Anthony’. The film, directed by debutant Balaji Ganesh and produced by Excel Entertainment in association with AR Murugadoss, features Vijay Varma as the primary antagonist.

According to Variety India, shooting for the project began on February 27 in Mumbai and is scheduled to wrap by July 2026, targeting a theatrical release in early 2027.
The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, in partnership with AR Murugadoss Productions.
