Time after time, fans declare a celebrity “unrecognizable.”

But what happens when a beloved actor is fully recognized, but something seems mysterious?

All sorts of rumors have been circulating – some as deranged as human cloning – in the wake of Jim Carrey’s recent appearance on stage.

Do I send a double performer to give a speech in another language and accept their award?

There’s just something a little different…

On Thursday, February 26, Carey delighted the crowd at the Cesar Awards in Paris.

There he received honors and gave a speech in French to the audience.

Presented on stage by director Michel Gondry.

Curry greeted his partner, saying to his girlfriend: “Thank you to my wonderful companion, Min Ah. I love you.”

However, after his appearance on the show, a strange kind of hype started spreading across the internet.

Simply put, Curry looks a little different here.

Most online commenters were vague about what seemed different. Others were very specific.

His cheekbones look very round and smooth. The sides of his jaw are probably more textured than they were before.

Not for nothing, but this is the best hair Carrey has ever had.

Above all else, he moved his jaws differently when his mouth was forced to do the unthinkable – speak French.

Wasn’t this the real man? Was it a scam? Stunt double? cloning?

Hopefully we won’t have to explain to anyone that human cloning is not real yet. The technology is not there.

(And if we an act If we had functional human cloning technology, we would use it to grow replacement organs — not impersonate celebrities for vaguely conspiratorial reasons that only make sense to those suffering from delusions.)

However, it is tragically normal for human bodies to age and even change over time. Especially when that person is 64 years old.

That didn’t stop wild speculation that, perhaps via Mission Impossible face mask technology, someone had stepped in to impersonate Carrey in front of the audience, viewers at home and more than half a dozen of his guests.

A prank made by makeup artist Alexis Stone — Elliott Joseph Rentz — on Instagram after the fact didn’t help.

Stone’s Instagram post showed a collection of actual photos of Curry along with makeup tools one can use to mimic his look.

This included an elaborate face mask and even a wig.

Stone’s page is full of exploits of stealing their looks.

However, it seemed that this was just a joke.

Although she fooled some people!

What is the truth?

It is brutal to live in a time when it feels as if the very concept of truth is being killed before our eyes. But the truth is there.

Marley Leslie, Carey’s publicist, confirmed this TMZ “Jim Carrey attended the Cesar Awards ceremony, where he received an honorary Cesar Award.”

Honestly, we can’t think of a better place to accept a César Award.

Additionally, a Cesar Awards rep confirmed his attendance diverse.

It’s really helpful to be able to differentiate between real things and fake things. Human cloning is not real yet. Mission impossible Face masks are not. What reason would he have for either of them even if he could?
