Ben Ford
Ben, born in September 1967, is the first of two children that Harrison had with his first wife, Mary Marquardt. Harrison and Mary were married from 1964 until their divorce in 1979. Ben turned out to be the accomplished chef and restaurateur, co-owning the Ford Filling Station in Los Angeles, California. He also wrote a book, Taming the feastwhich contains step-by-step illustrations and photos on “Cooking with Fire and Feeding a Crowd.”
Ben and his wife Emily They were married for 14 years before divorcing in 2024. They have two sons together, Waylon and Ethan.
Willard Ford
Willard, Harrison’s second child with Mary, was born on May 14, 1969. Like his brother, Willard became an entrepreneur in his own right, establishing the Ludwig Clothing Company as well as a powerhouse gym. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Willard had to close his gym. “With nowhere to turn, we are quitting,” he wrote in an Instagram post on June 24, 2020. “Thank you all for your care and sincere friendship.”
Even though the gym is closed, Willard still has a lot to be grateful for, taking care of two children, Juliana and Eliel.
Malcolm Ford
Malcolm is Harrison’s third child, born on October 3, 1987. Malcolm is the first of two children Harrison had with his second wife, the late screenwriter. Melissa Matheson. Because Harrison likes to keep his family life private, he tried to give his children as normal a childhood as possible, with Malcolm attending school in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Even with his semi-normal upbringing, Malcolm still pursued show business, appearing in films Water to wine (2004) and fronted by the very successful indie band The Dough Rollers. The band has worked with big names in the music industry such as Jack White and Queens of the Stone Age. Harrison had another child with Melissa, a daughter named Georgia who was born on June 30, 1990. Although she is not as active in Hollywood as her father, Georgia has acted in a few films, including True story and Visitor. Harrison has been particularly open about Georgia’s experience with epilepsy, which he shared with Daily news, “She joins me in thanking FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). I admire so many things about her. I admire her talent and strength. She is my hero. I love her.”
He continued, “When you have a loved one with this disease, it can be devastating. You know how it affects their lives, their future, their opportunities, and you want so badly to find relief. You want to find a way that they can live a comfortable and effective life.”
Liam Ford
Harrison shares his fourth child, Liam, with his current wife Calista Flockhart. Harrison and Calista began dating after meeting at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards, and Harrison officially became Liam’s father (Calista adopted Liam before she met Harrison). The couple eventually tied the knot in 2010 and continue to raise their son, who remains out of the limelight for the most part. Liam graduated from Amherst College on May 28, 2023 and his parents were there to support him. Harrison proudly wrapped his arm around Liam as Calista rushed in for a big hug after the ceremony.
