Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Sharad Pawar was admitted to a private hospital in Pune on Sunday as he was suffering from mild dehydration.

According to the official statement issued by the hospital, the condition of the 85-year-old politician is now stable.
“We are admitting Baba to Ruby Hall, Pune for follow-up and hydration tests. We thank all the doctors and healthcare workers,” Pawar’s daughter and MP Supriya Sule said.
“Mr Sharad Pawar came to Ruby Hall Clinic today due to mild dehydration and requires fluids,” said senior cardiologist, chairman and managing director of Ruby Hall Clinic Dr Purvez Grant and consultant physician Dr Abhijit Lodha, who are supervising his treatment.
They added that Pawar’s condition is stable and that he will remain at the Ruby Hall Clinic for two days before being sent home.
Pawar’s admission to the hospital comes about two weeks after he was admitted to the same hospital due to a chest infection. He was discharged from the hospital on February 14.
