More than two decades after the angst of urban youth was first captured, Yufa Returns to the big screen. The 2004 political action drama will be back in theaters on February 20, 2026 at PVR INOX cinemas.
Yuva returns to theaters on February 20; Esha Deol calls it “a film close to my heart”
Actress Esha Deol announced the film’s re-release in a video message, describing the film as “very close to my heart”. She recalled the experience of working with director Mani Ratnam and co-stars Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi.
“Yufa “It was a special journey for me,” Deol said, adding that being part of a youth-focused film that continues to resonate makes the re-release even more important. She also referred to the Tamil version of the film, which featured Suriya in one of the lead roles.

The cast also included Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Aayutha Ezhuthu, albeit with a different lead cast.

The February 20 box office will see a generational showdown: a politically charged drama from 2004 and a new romantic offering hit theaters on the same day.
