In 2007, the world was completely affected by the disappearance of little girl Madeleine McCann. The 3-year-old, who was on vacation with her family, disappeared from her hotel room while her parents were having dinner at the resort where they were staying. For years, speculation led to countless theories, with everyone pointing the finger at someone else in or close to the McCann family. I remember the countless investigative reports and seemingly endless documentaries detailing every aspect of her alleged kidnapping — so much so that I didn’t think there was a stone unturned.

However, less than a decade later, the revelation of the Jeffrey Epstein files may lead to a major breakthrough in the case, revealing that McCann’s disappearance could be directly linked to Epstein’s accomplice in every way, Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to newly released documents in Epstein’s files, Maxwell, who essentially helped Epstein successfully traffick children, was spotted by an unnamed eyewitness who reported seeing her with McCann.

like Hindustan Times The witness reportedly told the FBI in 2020 that while returning home from a store in 2009, they saw a woman fitting Maxwell’s description holding the hand of a young girl about McCann’s age.

The witness statement said: “There was also a middle-aged man with them, but he was walking very forward. As I approached the girl I noticed that she looked like Madeleine McCann. The woman was trying to speed up and seemed disturbed that I was there.”

The witness went on to share a Facebook post about Maxwell’s connection to McCann’s kidnapping years later, making them realize they may have actually seen the two together. The witness decided to report the matter to the local authorities and the FBI, noting that the child was covering her right eye the entire time. This is important, as McCann had a rare condition called coloboma which made the pupil in her right eye distinct.

According to We Got This Covered, people are now also once again analyzing a composite photo of an E-fit witness created by private investigators, and noticing a striking resemblance between the woman described and Maxwell herself.

It is important to note that authorities have not verified any connection between Maxwell and McCann at this time.
