Was Robert Dorgan a Democrat or a Republican?Although there is no evidence that Dorgan was a Democrat, there are conflicting claims about whether he supported President Donald Trump. One post claimed Dorgan was a “hard Trump supporter” who warned “other conservatives” at X not to badmouth trans people. A screenshot appears to show Dorgan’s comments directed at Alex Jones and Kevin Sorbo, telling them that transgender people will “go nuts” if they keep beating them up.
Another post claims that Dorgan has been criticizing Trump’s federal policy that recognizes only two genders – male and female. In one screenshot, Dorgan shared a Trump post in which the president condemned a biological male being allowed to compete in the California girls state finals and wrote, “Trans my whole life. 3 girls. They’re using it to tear our country apart. It’s ridiculous.”
A screenshot also shows that Dorgan Marjorie Taylor Greene’s X post sent a letter to Congress about Pam Bondi naming several people in the Epstein files.

Dorgan, who had been sitting behind the stands on the home team side during the game, shot four family members and a family friend after walking to the front. His child’s mother and siblings were among the dead, multiple sources told WPRI. While the mother died inside the Lynch Arena, the siblings died at the hospital. The condition of the three injured is critical.
Goncalves confirmed that the police were not involved in Dorgan’s death. “It appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but we’re going to investigate it fully,” Goncalves said. “The police were not involved.”
