Freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy shocked his fans and followers when he posted a photo of a graphic anti-ICE message, which appears to have been created by urinating on the ice. The post, which quickly went viral across social media, sparked intense debate about the boundaries of athlete activism. While many of his supporters praised Scheer for his “unfiltered” and bold approach to political protest, others questioned the graphic nature of the post.

I am calling to request the senator [Name] Refusal to support a final Department of Homeland Security funding deal that fails to meaningfully rein in ICE and the Border Patrol. Innocent people have been killed, enough is enough. We can’t wait as ICE continues to operate with unchecked power in our communities. Senators still have leverage right now, and Senators [Name] It must be used to demand real watchdogs and accountability, including getting ICE and CBP out of our communities, ending blank-check funding for atrocities, and establishing clear limits on warrantless arrests, profiling, and enforcement in sensitive places like schools and hospitals.”

“Really sick so-called celebrities politicize everything,” commented a third. A fourth expressed, “Damn, that’s a shame.”

What will be his punishment?Kenwardy will not be punished for the post, the BBC reported. A spokesperson for the International Olympic Committee told the Press Association, “During the Olympic Games, all participants have the opportunity to express their views in accordance with the Athlete Expression Guidelines. The IOC does not regulate individual social media posts,” told the BBC.
