The US military said Thursday that an attack on a boat in the eastern Pacific killed two drug traffickers, bringing the death toll in Washington’s campaign to at least 128.
“Intelligence has confirmed that this vessel is being transported through known narco-trafficking routes in the eastern Pacific and is engaged in narco-trafficking activities,” the US Southern Command said in a post on X. “No US military forces were harmed” in the operation, it said.
