Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping has left her family reeling as the first deadline for the alleged ransom note has passed, with no update on where the 84-year-old may be. Now, Cameron Guthrie, her son and brother of Today Show host, Savannah Guthrie, has put out a desperate message on social media, asking to contact the person/s who may have taken their mother.
Cameron Guthrie has a message for Nancy Guthrie’s alleged kidnapper. (x/@coffinfarfbi)Nancy Guthrie was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona home on Sunday, but police believe she was taken the night before. Nancy went to dinner with her other daughter, Annie, and was dropped off at the house by Tommaso Cioni, Annie’s wife, according to the New York Times.
After the kidnapping, a purported ransom note was sent. But since then there has been no further contact. Investigators noted that time is of the essence in this case because Guthrie’s advanced age means he is not physically well without his daily medication. People noted from a dispatch call that Guthrie had cardiac problems, high blood pressure and a pacemaker.

He added that they needed to talk and was waiting for communication.
The person who shared the post wrote “As the first deadline listed on the ransom note passed, Nancy Guthrie’s son released another video on Instagram. He said the family has yet to hear from the kidnappers that their mother is being held.”
This comes after Savannah’s video message in which she pleaded for her mother’s return and mentioned that the proof of life must be authentic.
