The National Enquirer reported, citing a source, that Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance points to signs of being an ‘inside job’. The report cites several key pieces of evidence in the case, including a broken camera, a trail of blood from the front door and the removal of a ring camera.
“The cameras that were broken inside the house were there to protect their mother. Only a few people had access to them, they were installed to make sure that nothing happened to their mother, like if she was left alone at home,” the source told the publication.

“Whoever these potential kidnappers were, they went inside the house and knew where those cameras were pointing. They were able to break the cameras before their movements were visible in the recordings or streams. To do that, it takes a cool level of intel.”
Tommaso Cioni update
An Ashleigh Banfield report initially claimed that Nancy’s son-in-law, Annie Guthrie’s husband, Tommaso Cioni, was identified as a suspect. But officials said there were no suspects at the time.
Police said the 84-year-old’s daughter Annie and son-in-law Sioni dropped him home on January 31 after a family dinner. He was reported missing around noon on Sunday.

The National Enquirer’s source said that ‘the would-be kidnapper not only knew the intimate details of the home’s interior, but had to carefully plan so they wouldn’t be caught breaking the cameras’. However, Sioni’s name was not mentioned in the report.
Nancy’s children Annie, Savannah Guthrie and Cameron Guthrie released a statement Wednesday.
“We are ready to speak out. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated,” Savannah said, reading from a prepared statement. “We need to know without a doubt that he is alive and that you have him. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please contact us.”
“Mom, if you’ve heard this, you’re a strong woman. You’re a precious daughter of God,” she said.
