Will Forte, American actor and comedian, appeared in The Epstein Files. The Justice Department released the final batch of documents related to late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Friday.

“I’m sure you’ve heard by now about Bruce Dern and Will Fort’s wonderful performance in Alexander Payne’s Nebraska. Bruce Dern won the 2013 Best Actor award at Cannes,” wrote a mail to Epstein.

What Epstein’s Email Says About Will ForteWhile this was a passing mention to Forte, Epstein received another email from Leslie Groff, a member of his inner circle. In an exchange of mails that took place in 2013, Groff asked Fort for permission to ‘stay three nights’.
“Will Fort is my friend’s name,” Groff wrote to Epstein in June, adding that if it was ‘okay for Will to be with someone,’ the DOJ redacted the name.
However, Groff mentioned the name in a follow-up message. “The friend will arrive tomorrow! Is it okay for this close friend to stay with Jessica for 3 nights?” called registered exchange.
To this, Epstein replied that it was fine, but to make sure there were no ‘drugs or drinks’ in the apartment.
Forte has not responded to his name appearing in the document, and the Justice Department has clarified that naming is not evidence of wrongdoing.
A Reddit post noted “months after appearing in a sketch in which his MacGruber character appeared in The Epstein Files, Will Forte appeared in The Epstein Files.”
Although Will Forte is best known for his eight-season run on Saturday Night Live, he was also part of the MacGruber, movie and series. Fort has also appeared on Booksmart and created his own show The Last Man on Earth.
