On the red carpet of the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, several musicians and celebrities made an entrance wearing “ICE Out” pins to protest the actions of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) amid the fatal shooting of Alex Pretty, who was tied up with federal agents.

Khelani not only wore a protest pin but also used his acceptance moment to criticize ICE in his speech. In her red carpet interview, she said, “I really wanted to say F*ck ICE…we are as strong a group as we can all be in the room at the same time and not make any kind of statement in our country.”

Social media clips and images shared by various outlets show Margo Price and Jason Isbell wearing ICE out pins and protest outfits on the Grammys red carpet.

Joni Mitchell, who won the award for Best Historical Album, was seen on stage wearing an ICE Out pin while accepting his award.

According to Headline Planet, Olivia Rodrigo was also spotted at a Grammys-related showcase event, sporting an ICE out pin on Instagram last week to confirm her “cancel ice” calls after news of the Alex Pretty shooting took over the country.

Justin and Hailey Bieber also posed on the red carpet wearing ICE Out pins.

Celebrities wore the BeGood pin to honor the life of a woman, Renee Gu, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

Icons like Mark Ruffalo, Wanda Sykes, Jean Smart and Ariana Grande have been photographed wearing these pins on the Golden Globes red carpet.

During their red carpet appearances at the Sundance Film Festival last week, many celebrities wore pins that said “ICE OUT,” including Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde and Zoey Deitch, who wore a pin that said “Stay Well.”
