US President Donald Trump on Saturday shared an AI-generated military-themed photo of himself on Truth Social, depicting a larger-than-life “commander in chief” amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and ongoing diplomacy with Iran. The stunning photo shows Trump standing on the deck of a naval ship, binoculars in hand, overlooking a dramatic seascape. Behind him, American warships pierce the turbulent waters while fighter jets fly overhead in symmetrical formation, leaving trails of white smoke across the sky. American flags flutter from the ships, and the golden sunset casts a cinematic glow over the entire image. The post carried the caption: “You’re feeling confused.”
Trump’s post comes as he claims a major breakthrough with Iran is imminent. The US President said that a peace agreement aimed at preventing Tehran from possessing nuclear weapons is expected to be signed on Sunday. In a post on Truth Social, the MAGA CEO described the proposed agreement as a complete departure from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal negotiated under former President Barack Obama.“Barack Hussein Obama’s deal with Iran, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, was a nice, smooth, easy path to getting a nuclear weapon, which Iran could have gotten six years ago, and would have used long before now.
My agreement with Iran is exactly the opposite, which is a wall that prevents nuclear weapons! In fact, they no longer want a nuclear weapon, nor will they acquire one, whether through purchase, development, or any other form of procurement. The agreement is scheduled to be signed tomorrow, and immediately after its signing, the Strait of Hormuz will be open to everyone.”However, Tehran appears to be pouring cold water on Trump’s timetable. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said that the signing of any agreement is unlikely to take place immediately and will not take place on Sunday.According to the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, Baghaei said that any potential agreement could be finalized in the coming days, indicating that the negotiations may still face obstacles that must be overcome before the agreement is officially concluded.
