Critical reception of “Pallichattambi”
ETimes’ review of the film states, “The film also deals with regional identity. When Krishna Pillai says, ‘Kanyar and Tumpuram are the same for me,’ he speaks directly to the regional divide within the narrative. With so many ideas crammed into a film of just over two hours, many of them remain underdeveloped. On the technical front, Jackis Bijoy’s music and background score are strong, elevating several moments to a formidable pitch.”
Sandeshosh’s exciting choreography deserves a special mention for its scale, although some of the decisions made by the director and stunt choreographer leave one scratching their heads.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
