A north London man has appeared in court charged in a fatal Primrose Hill stabbing
A north London man appeared at Stratford Crown Court on Tuesday in connection with the stabbing of 21-year-old film student Finbar Sullivan near Primrose Hill.Sullivan was found with stab wounds near Popular Viewpoint on April 7.
Emergency services were called to the scene around midday, but despite the efforts of paramedics, he died from his injuries.The accused, identified as 27-year-old Oluwadamilola Ogunyankino of Southbury Road in Enfield, was produced before the court.During the short hearing, his identity was confirmed. District Judge Ashwinder Gill ruled that the case was too serious to be dealt with at magistrate level and referred it to the Old Bailey.
Ogunyankino was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear there on April 15.The Metropolitan Police said officers responded quickly to reports of a stabbing in Primrose Hill.
