Director Anurag Kashyap, who recently spoke to The Lallantop, painted a vivid picture of the serious atmosphere they maintained on the sets, one in which no actor, irrespective of his status, was exempt from suspension for tardiness.“Zoya and Reema were so professional that they were also scolding Mr. Bachchan on the sets of Lakshya,” Kashyap said. “They will say, ‘Sir, aapki set par zaoorat hai. Aap late kar rahe hain. (You are wanted on the sets. You are causing a delay.)'”Amitabh Bachchan is widely considered one of Bollywood’s most punctual stars, but Kashyap explained that discussions during filming could sometimes cause minor delays, and they were immediately met with strong reminders from the ads.
