Nana Patekar leaves O’ Romeo trailer launch after long delay in Mumbai

According to people present at the venue, Nana Patekar arrived on time as per the schedule. The programme, however, did not begin for nearly an hour. With no clear update on when the event would start, the actor chose to step out and leave the venue quietly.

The moment was noticed by photographers and media outside the location. Nana Patekar did not return to the main event, which later went ahead with other cast members.

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, who is collaborating with Nana Patekar for the first time in O’ Romeo, addressed the situation during the launch. Speaking informally, Bhardwaj described the actor as someone known for his straightforward nature and said there was no ill feeling over the exit.

He added that their friendship goes back many years and that Nana Patekar’s reaction was consistent with his personality. The filmmaker noted that the actor prefers punctuality and clear schedules.

The trailer of O’ Romeo was eventually unveiled, offering a glimpse into a dark, intense story set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s underworld. The film features Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, and an ensemble cast that includes Nana Patekar in a key role.

O’ Romeo marks another collaboration between Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor after their earlier films together. The movie is slated for a theatrical release on February 13.

Despite the brief disruption, the makers continued with promotions, and the trailer quickly began circulating online after the event.
