Party spokesman Ashutosh Ranka on Thursday released a list of 34 cities in India where protests are continuing.
The Cockcrouch Janta Party’s protest, which rocked the national capital, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over NEET-UG papers leak, is not limited to just the Jantar Mantar in Delhi anymore.
Amid similar student protests in Bengaluru and Mumbai, CHP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka on Thursday issued a list, naming 34 cities in India where protests are continuing. “These are all the cities that are currently protesting against paper leaks. India has woken up,” he said.
Names include: Kurukshetra, Chandigarh, Jammu, Dharamshala, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Unnao, Rampur, Bhopal, Indore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Patna, Bilaspur, Raipur, Indore, Kolkata, Jadavpur, Bangalore, Davangere, Kalaburgi, Guwahati, Aizawl, Itanagar, Shillong, Agartala, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Rajahmundry, Chennai, and Trivandrum.

Protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi

The CJP rejected the move and remained firm on its demand for Pradhan’s resignation. On Thursday, Debaki also urged the prime minister to meet the movement’s demand, warning that protests would escalate if the demand was ignored.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, Dibek said the agitation would no longer be limited to demanding Pradhan’s resignation if the Center failed to act.
“Modi ji, I once again request you to accept Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Otherwise, the issue will not remain limited to Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation alone; it will come to your resignation as well,” he said.
