While the Cockroach Janta Party continues its protest, its founder Abhijit Debke was not present at Jantar Mantar on Thursday morning, as thousands of supporters continue to gather at the site.

“I have been suffering from fever and severe body pain for the past few days, but I have been taking painkillers. I apologize if you do not see me at Jantar Mantar today. I need to get a few hours of rest and recover,” Debke wrote, adding that he would return to the protest site by evening.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka also confirmed Debaki’s absence due to ill health.
As of 5pm, the CJP founder was back on site, calling on PM Modi and the government to protect the education minister.
“It took 34 days for the Prime Minister to notice this and it is shameful that the government is still protecting Dharmendra Pradhan,” Debki told his supporters.

“If the government had made as much effort to stop the paper leak, as it did in installing jamming devices, deploying police forces, and erecting barricades, the lives of 22 young people could have been saved,” the CJP founder added.
The Justice and Development Party calls for nationwide protests on Friday
As thousands of Indians continue to gather at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, the Cockroach Janta Party has issued a call for peaceful protest nationwide.
According to the announcement made by the CJP, the protest will be organized on Friday, July 24.

The group also urged student unions and other organizations to cooperate and work together to obtain permission and logistics for peaceful protests.
“Let us make this protest national. On July 24, please organize peaceful protests across the country, in every city and every village and demand Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation,” Ranka said at Jantar Mantar while addressing the crowd.
