On Wednesday, the far-right activist in America who is loyal to Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, launched a scathing attack on New York City Mayor Zahran Mamdani, after she described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “war criminal” and said that he was “not welcome in New York City.”Loomer, who is Jewish, called for a ban on Muslims holding public office in the United States, and urged President Donald Trump to reimpose the “Muslim ban.”Loomer said: “Prevent Muslims from holding office in America.”She also made a direct appeal to the MAGA president, writing: “We will never make America safe again until President Trump goes back to implementing his Muslim ban. This time, make it the Muslim ban it was meant to be.”

“It is not an Islamic travel ban.”Speaking to X, Loomer accused Mamdani of sympathizing with Iran and Hamas, and claimed, without providing evidence, that he posed a national security risk. “When you allow Muslims to participate in the American political system, you make sympathizers of the Twelver Shiite Iranian regime and Hamas devotees like Mamdani rule the largest city in America. It will not end well.”

She also claimed that Mamdani would never receive an FBI security clearance, saying, “I’m glad the Trump administration has assured me that Mamdani will never receive an FBI clearance.”

Citing an unnamed source, Loomer wrote: “A senior FBI source told me that FBI senior leadership has reason to believe that Mamdani may be in direct contact with Islamic terrorist organizations. He certainly poses a national security risk and that is why we have refused to grant him an FBI-approved security clearance.”

He won’t get one.”Loomer added, “I pushed hard for this to be the case even before Mamdani was elected,” and further claimed, “An FBI source has confirmed to me, which is shocking, that they have reason to believe that Mamdani is in direct contact with terrorist organizations.”The comments came after Mamdani intensified his criticism of Netanyahu in a video posted on X on Tuesday, saying the Israeli leader was “not welcome in New York City” and urging the US federal government to implement the ICC’s arrest warrant against him.Mamdani described Netanyahu as a “war criminal” and accused him of committing atrocities during the Israeli military campaign in Gaza.“He is a war criminal and the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people,” Mamdani said.

He further claimed that Netanyahu was responsible for “the mutilation of tens of thousands of children with survivors undergoing amputation without anesthesia. The targeting of neonatal hospitals and maternity care centres, depriving newborns of even the chance to live. For countless people, he starved because he prevented food and humanitarian aid from reaching them.”Referring to the ICC’s arrest warrant, Mamdani said: “There is a reason why the ICC issued an arrest warrant for him. As I said, I agree with the ICC that Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested and prosecuted for his crimes as I would with anyone else indicted by the ICC.”
