Will Rajpal Yadav go to jail in Rs 9 crore check bounce case? The court granted these options to the actor, according to Madhav's lawyer Gopal Agarwal

The Delhi High Court has sentenced Rajpal Yadav to three months imprisonment in a Rs 9 crore debt case. In 2012, Yadav took a loan from businessman Madhav Gopal Agrawal of Murli Projects Pvt Ltd and over the years, the debt amount has now reached Rs 9 crore.

The actor did not pay his debts and was in Tihar Jail.

After being released on bail, he failed to comply with court orders and refused to provide money. As per the latest update on Friday, the actor has been sentenced to three months in prison. However, Rajpal will not go to jail yet. “Today, the cases filed by Rajpal Yadav have been reserved for orders,” says advocate Avnish Sikka, who represents Murli Projects Pvt Ltd, as quoted by ANI.

As per the Delhi High Court ruling, all the 21 cases filed by Rajpal Yadav were dismissed and the order passed by the sessions court was upheld. The court ordered him to imprisonment for three months; He was also directed to pay a fine of Rs 1.05 crore in each case.

The 3-month prison sentence must be served concurrently. Ms. Radha Rajpal Yadav was also one of the accused in these cases.

She was ordered to pay a fine of Rs 5 lakh in each case. While the case was pending, his lawyer prayed for probation. The court refused to exempt him from probation. The court took into account the repeated violation of his undertakings given to the court, along with the fact that Rajpal Yadav said on the last day: “I am ready to go to jail 5 times but I will not pay a single penny.” He was given two months to either comply with the order or appeal the ruling before the Supreme Court. Therefore, according to the lawyer, the court gave Yadav two months to either comply with the orders, repay the money, go to jail, or challenge the high court’s decision in the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, on the work front, Yadav was last seen in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
