Kelly, known for producing the widely acclaimed 2014 horror short for Adult Swim Lots of chefshelmets owner From a script he co-wrote with Jamie King. Tyler Davidson, Drew Sykes, Rafael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz and Tracy Rosenblum serve as producers.
Executive producing are Kelly, King, Kevin Flanigan, Dexter Braff, Roberto Lenc, Nathan McCauley, Emilio Schenker, Gideon Palmyra, Adam J. Wilde, Geoff Yao and Ryan J. Kelly.
In his review of owner to Hollywood Reporterleading film critic David Rooney wrote that the film “expands its sketch comedy idea to length through increased gore and crazy diversions but never goes far enough to be as extreme or disturbing as it wants to be.”
Rooney added, “The film’s biggest asset is the inspired voice work of Keegan-Michael Key as the main character.”
