Not only that, but hours after officially tying the knot with Thakur, Anshula shared an emotional message of her own on her account, in which she revealed how her late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor was with her on her special day.

Anshula and Arjun Kapoor’s mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, died years ago after battling cancer. However, she was still there with her daughter in spirit. Taking to her Instagram account, the content creator remembered her mother on her special day, and candidly revealed how she managed to accompany her daughter in everything.She shared a post on her Instagram with photos of her wedding where she wrote: “There was only one thing I knew I wanted to carry with me when I became a bride – my 42-year-old mother’s gold handkerchiefs and zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it.” In this emotional post, the star revealed her desire to be with the person who raised her as she enters this new chapter in her life. “On the day that marks the beginning of a new family, I felt it was appropriate to wrap my head around the person who first raised me,” Anshula added.
Later in the post, she revealed that her entire outfit for the wedding was designed as a way to complement her mother’s zardozi scarf. She tagged her designers and the people who created her look and talked about how the outfit came about and how it showcased traditional elements from all over India.
“A wedding collection that brought together crafts from across India: intricate Kashida embroideries layered with rich zari work, and a bandhini gharchola dupatta as a nod to the family I’m marrying into, all in a palette of antique pink, blush gold and muted gold, with delicate phulkari edges as a tribute to my Punjabi roots,” she wrote.

A few hours before this, Anshula’s brother Arjun Kapoor shared a candid post about his sister finally getting married. He has spoken about their bond over the years. However, he also wrote a reference to their mother. He wrote, “Today you start your new journey with Rohan and my heart, mind and soul are so happy to see you smiling. I have watched you grow and become this amazing woman who is our mother every step of the way, never worry because she is watching over you and blessing you all the time…”He concluded his post by writing that he will always be there for her no matter what happens.
The post also included a black and white photo showing how the family prepared a photo frame of Mona Shourie Kapoor near Anshula and Rohan at the wedding altar.
