Details are being revealed about an upcoming psychological thriller starring Rachel Ziegler.
Bleecker Street Films has acquired the US rights to produce the film National Democratic Rallymarking Audrey Ellis Fox’s directorial debut after her script for the film reached the 2024 blacklist.
Penn Badgley and Amy Ryan are assembling the cast for the film, which is currently in production in New York.
National Democratic Rally The film follows Dana (Ziegler), who faces a difficult day of mediation after filing a harassment claim in her office. As the deadline approaches, she alternates between questions about silence and the truth.
Producers include Jared Ian Goldman and Zola Elgart Glassman for Mighty Engine, Keith Calder and Jess Wu Calder for SNOOT, Caitlin Gould for Tanbark Pictures, and Danielle Ginsberg for In The Cut Productions. Ellis Fox executive produces alongside Kent Sanderson, Tyler DiNapoli and Miranda King for Bleecker Street, along with Christian Hall.

Zegler’s next features include those of Lin-Manuel Miranda Eight And comedy drama She gets it from me Along with Marisa Tomei.
