An updated tally of attendees attending the annual Allen & Co. conference in Idaho.

Welcome back to the OG Billionaires Resort. Every July, executives descend on private planes in Idaho to attend investment banker Herb Allen’s “Moguls’ Exclusive Summer Camp” in Sun Valley. The Allen & Co event, held from July 7 to 11 this year, was previously devoid of journalists, but now resembles an annual scavenger hunt among on-site journalists. (It’s always a good bet that People Inc. mogul Barry Diller delivers the most quoted lines in the press each year.)
The conference founded by the 86-year-old mogul used to stand out as one of the premier gatherings in what are now called thought-leading businesses that count everything from Davos in Switzerland to the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado to Jeff Bezos’ annual Campfire retreats for VIPs. This list is growing as more companies seek to cater to the narrowest, invitation-only segment of the ultra-affluent class.
In other words, there may be less mystery in the meeting of these poles, as there are, increasingly, many stations at which the Masters of the Universe also set out each year. But since there are photojournalists on standby, being at the Allen & Co. conference also serves a visual purpose. It’s a place where executives — name tag, sunglasses, cup of coffee in hand — can be seen. This also tells the story of power and who now holds it.
Here is a list of Hollywood attendees this year at Sun Valley:
Neil Mohan

Bob Iger and Josh D’Amaro

Brian Roberts and Mike Kavanagh

Ted Sarandos

It’s unclear whether Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, after Warner Bros. For a period last year, he was looking to make another big change.
David Zaslav

Image credit: Kevin Deitch/Getty Images David Zaslav sparked a bidding war that led to a $111 billion agreement to sell Warner Bros. Discovery to Paramount mogul David Ellison. In the process, Warner’s sales payday was estimated at $886 million.
Barry Diller

Jerry Yang

Michael Eisner
