Over the years, Robert Pattinson has become known for one of Hollywood’s most popular franchises, “The Twilight Saga.” While preparing for his upcoming film “The Odyssey,” directed by Christopher Nolan, the actor couldn’t help but look back to the days when he played a teenage vampire.

While Robert Pattinson has played many movies as the “good guy,” in “The Odyssey,” he plays the exact opposite role. While speaking to MTV UK about his latest role, the actor was asked how it felt to finally play the antagonist, or “the character that everyone doesn’t root for?”He noted that some people might encourage his character in the film. He added, “I think they’ll support him. I keep comparing him…he’s like Jacob in Twilight.”

About the character of Robert Pattinson

In The Odyssey, Pattinson plays Antinous, one of the main antagonists and suitor of Queen Penelope. Throughout the film, he is one of the men pressuring her to remarry while King Odysseus is away fighting in the Trojan War.

The film is scheduled to include an all-star cast, and will revolve around Odysseus’s journey back to his homeland after the Trojan War with his crew to meet his wife and son again.
