Donna Kelsey gives a short but sweet reaction to her son Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift’s wedding over the weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The couple tied the knot on Friday in a star-studded ceremony that reportedly saw around 1,000 guests gather inside the famous square for a special night described as “intimate”.

While Donna remained mum about the wedding, she was asked what she could share about the famous couple’s nuptials during an interview posted to Macy’s official Instagram account on Sunday. “I can’t really say much except it was magical, man, magical,” the mother replied.

Although she didn’t go into detail about the headline-grabbing event, Donna was also asked another timely question about what comes to mind when she thinks of the Fourth of July. “I remember I used to take the boys[Travis and Jason Kelce]to Lake Erie and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she said. Since Swift and Kelsey’s big day, details have slowly been emerging. After a rehearsal dinner reportedly attended by 100 people, held at the Infosys Theater inside the park on Thursday evening, the main celebrations began the next day.

The couple’s wedding was officially confirmed when a special sign reading “JusT&T Married!” It appeared on screens outside the park on Friday evening. The singer’s longtime publicist later revealed that both Swift and Kelsey wore custom couture designs by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior.

As for other details, Adam Sandler officiated the wedding while Swift and Kelsey’s brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelsey, served as man of honor and best man, respectively. On the entertainment front, Swift is said to have performed with Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney.
