Beyoncé, one of the revered singers, dropped a long-unreleased song as a surprise hit on July 4, 2026. The 44-year-old shared the slow tune “Morning Dew (Donk)” on streaming services.

Beyoncé releases song ahead of B’Day’s 20th anniversary
Beyoncé’s all-new version will be included in the 20th anniversary edition of “B’Day.” She reportedly recorded the song in 2013 and teased the song in 2021 before releasing the entire song two years later, according to Variety.
According to a statement from Parkwood Entertainment, the lyric video reuses old footage of the singer directed by Cliff Watts on her 25th birthday. Originally written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, the song is “a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic B’Day celebration.”
