Years after the film’s release, Urmila Matondkar revealed that she was so enamored with Aamir’s performance that she felt compelled to write him a personal letter, long before audiences and critics started showering him with praise.Recalling the incident that happened during her appearance in Dance Deewane 3 in 2021, Urmila said the crush came while she was dubbing for the film. “Very few people know that when I was dubbing for ‘Rangeela’, I saw Aamir’s performance and was amazed. I wrote him a letter in which I wrote: ‘You will receive many letters after this performance and will get awards as well.’ But this will be the first fan letter you’ll get.
