After giving a powerful performance in the ring, Rind explained that sharing this occasion with the Bollywood star was as special as the victory itself.Following his 2-1 knockout win over India’s Rana Singh, the fighter grabbed the microphone and revealed how much Salman has inspired him over the years.Rind took the microphone after the match and could not contain his excitement as he addressed Salman, saying, “I have been watching your films since childhood.” He also expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity to fight in front of his star, saying: “It was a pleasure to fight in front of you.”
Victory is for peace
Rind also used the post-match platform to deliver a heartfelt message that goes beyond sports. He called for harmony between India and Pakistan, and dedicated his victory to peace and unity. “This battle is for peace. We are not enemies, we are together. Together, we can do anything,” he said, amid applause from those present at the venue.

On the professional front, Salman Khan has a packed list of upcoming films. He will next be seen in the national war drama ‘Maatrubhumi’, which was earlier called ‘Battle of Galwan’.
Although the film has created a lot of buzz, its release date has not been announced yet.Moreover, Salman is also working on an action-comedy with director duo Raj & DK, best known for The Family Man. The project will mark the filmmakers’ return to the big screen after nearly a decade following “A Gentleman” (2017).Additionally, reports suggest that the star is in discussions with Farhan Akhtar for a big historical drama based on one of the most iconic figures in Indian history. Salman is expected to begin shooting for the ambitious project around October-November 2026 after wrapping up the upcoming action entertainer produced by Vamshi Paidipally, which is currently being shot in Mumbai and eyeing a theatrical release on Eid 2027.
