Priyamani hopes 'GDN' will present GD Naidu's legacy to the new generation; It talks about her personality

Actress Priyamani will next be seen in the upcoming biographical drama ‘GDN’ starring R Madhavan. She will be seen playing the lead role in the Krishnakumar Ramkumar directed film which revolves around legendary inventor G.D.

Naidu.According to Cinema Express, speaking at the film’s launch, Priyamani said she hopes the film will help more people learn about the life and achievements of GD Naidu. She believes the film will also encourage young people to think differently and come up with new ideas.

Priyamani talks about her role

Priyamani plays the role of Chilammal in the film, but she said that she cannot reveal many details about her character yet. “I can’t reveal much about my role at the moment,” she said.

But I can tell you one thing, my character’s name is Chilammal. Once the movie is released, you will understand what kind of woman she was during that time.

Priyamani hopes that the GDN will reach everyone

The actress said that the film can open the eyes of many people. She said: “I think it will be a surprise to everyone because a lot of people still don’t know who JD Naidu is. When you mention his name, the first reaction is usually: ‘Who is JD Naidu?’ What did he do?” I hope that after watching this movie, people will proudly say: “Now we know who the Jedi is.”

I think this film will be valuable to everyone.Priyamani also praised the GD Naidu Innovation Competition held as part of the film’s promotions. She said that the large number of entries showed that many young people were interested in innovation, adding that this was only the beginning.

Priyamani encourages the youth

During the event, the ‘Joan’ actress encouraged the youth to never lose hope when facing difficulties. She also spoke about learning JD Naidu’s story while working on the film. She said it made her feel proud that India had such a vision during the pre-independence period.It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
