Alia Bhatt made her debut in the world of espionage with YRF’s Alpha, which was released on Friday, July 3, 2026. Along with Alia, the film stars Sharvari in the female lead, and their camaraderie is grabbing the audience’s attention.
The film is also keeping the cash registers ringing at the box office. After an impressive opening on Friday, the Alia Bhatt film saw earnings grow over 20 per cent on Saturday. This pushed the collection in the domestic market past Rs 24 crore gross, while worldwide the film has grossed over Rs 37 crore. “Alpha” collected the second day box office
According to Sakneelak, the Shiv Raail directorial earned Rs 11.25 crore on Saturday, across 6,882 shows. This represents a growth of 21.6% from Friday’s net collection of Rs 9.25 lakh crore.With the latest numbers, Alpha Group’s total in India stands at Rs 24.60 lakh crore and net profit stands at Rs 20.50 lakh crore.Coming to overseas collections, the film added Rs 7 crore to its second day tally, taking its total collection to Rs 13 crore.
This pushed the total global collection of ‘Alpha’ to Rs 37.60 crore.
Alpha occupancy on the second day
The total occupancy rate of “Alpha” on Saturday, July 4, 2026, was 26.29 percent. This is another increase from yesterday’s occupancy rate of 20.40 percent. If we break it down, the morning shows witnessed an occupancy rate of 9.69 per cent, which increased significantly during the afternoon as the footfall rose to 22.31 per cent. The graph only witnessed positive changes as the day progressed, with the evening shows seeing an occupancy rate of 29.46 percent.
Moreover, the night shows recorded a maximum occupancy rate of 43.69 per cent.

“Alpha” opened with positive audience response. The visual spectacle has impressed audiences. Interestingly, the thing that attracted the most attention was seeing two women at the center of a spy drama. Kareena Kapoor Khan also enjoyed watching female artists take charge. Thus, Kareena, through an Instagram story, expressed, “Killing it @aliaabhatt @sharvari I love seeing women front and center in action films.
