Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s drama ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ continued its theatrical run on the 15th.The film has now seen a decline in its collections compared to the previous day. After completing two weeks in cinemas, the film added another Rs 75 lakh to its total net collection in India, taking its total domestic performance to Rs 54.70 crore.The latest figures show that the film registered a 34.8% decline from Day 14, when it collected Rs 1.15 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. The 15th day’s lineup came from 1,292 shows across India.
The global gross is close to Rs 90 crore
With an Indian gross of Rs 63.32 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 24.35 crore, ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ has now collected Rs 87.67 crore at the worldwide box office.While the pace of collection has naturally slowed down after a fortnight, the Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer is still within striking distance of making Rs 90 crore worldwide.After earning Rs 33.70 crore during its opening week, the film added another Rs 20.25 crore in the second week before entering its third week.Of the Hindi net collection of Rs 75 lakh, the Telugu version accounted for Rs 74 lakh while the Tamil version contributed only Rs 1 lakh.The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy rate of 18.02%. Turnout improved as the day progressed, starting at 10.69% in the morning, rising to 14.77% in the afternoon, reaching 17.92% during the evening shows, and reaching 21.38% at night.
The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 15.07%. It was recorded at 6.80% in the morning, 13.20% in the afternoon, 16.00% in the evening, and 14.80% during the night shows.The film continued to perform best in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which remained its strongest market on the 15th day. The district generated Rs 64 lakh from the total collections.
