Among these fans was winger Trezeguet. He was seen signing a t-shirt and taking a selfie with a young fan. Moments later, Egypt national team manager Ibrahim Hassan headed to the same area.The situation changed within seconds. An American police officer in charge of security approached Hassan. Video footage appears to show the officer pushing the former Egyptian international back while telling people to stay away from the area.
The confrontation quickly became physical. Many Egyptian players and employees rushed after seeing the accident. A short conflict ensued as both sides tried to control the situation. Throughout the exchange, the officer repeatedly ordered those around him to keep their distance and retreat from the restricted area.The tense moment lasted for about half a minute. Then other security personnel and members of the Egyptian delegation intervened.
