Actor-filmmaker Prakash Varma has officially announced the release date of his upcoming Malayalam film ‘Law and Order’. Sharing a brand new poster on Wednesday night, the actor confirmed that the Ranjith film will hit theaters worldwide on July 24. Written by popular screenwriter Udaykrishna, the film is expected to be a commercial entertainer that revolves around the clash between law enforcement and the criminal underworld.

Prakash Varma continues his acting journey

After receiving widespread acclaim for his acting debut in Tharun Murthy’s Thudarum, Prakash Varma is all set to return to the big screen in another prominent role. His portrayal of the tough police officer George opposite Mohanlal was widely appreciated, with many calling his casting one of the film’s biggest surprises.With “Law & Order,” the actor looks to build on the momentum generated by his successful debut.

Mammootty Brings back a distinctive personality

One of the biggest highlights of ‘Law and Order’ is Mammootty’s special appearance as Karikkamuri Shanmughan, a character whom the audience first met in the 2004 action thriller ‘Black’. ‘Law & Order’ marks the first creative partnership between director Ranjith and writer Udakrishna.
