ETimes review praises the performance
Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote, “The reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi has an easy warmth, and Jayaram in particular holds the film together without overdoing the pacing. Emperuman is shaped so closely to Mysskin’s deadpan route that it barely seems to be acting, and the gag about his endless eating mostly lands flat. Yogi Babu, in a smaller part, does his usual dry routine with jokes often at his own expense.”
No one stretches, no one stumbles. “Nothing here remains, but very little impurity as well, and this balance is reason enough to appear.”
