‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ box office collections Day 14: Samantha Ruth Prabhu slows down; He earns nett Rs 1.15 lakh
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ continued its theatrical run on the second Thursday with another normal day at the box office.The film has maintained a steady presence in cinemas since its release and is now approaching the Rs 90 crore mark globally.According to Sakneelak, the film has collected an estimated Rs 1.15 crore (nett India) on day 14. The latest figure represents a drop of 11.5 per cent compared to the Rs 1.30 crore it earned the previous day.
India and global groups cross new milestones
‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ has taken its total net collection in India to Rs 53.95 crore. Its total collection in India now stands at Rs 62.45 crore.The film also continued its overseas run by collecting an estimated Rs 20 lakh on Thursday.
The international total rose to a total of Rs 24.35 crore.The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 86.80 crore. During the second week, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s film earned Rs 20.25 crore (India net). Earlier, the film had concluded its opening week with Rs 33.70 crore (Net India).
Occupancy rates for “MIB”
On the 14th day, the Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 14.58 per cent. Morning shows recorded 12.29 percent, while afternoon occupancy improved to 15.43 percent.
The percentage of evening shows reached 15.85 percent, before settling at 13.08 percent during the night.The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 8.46 per cent. The occupancy rate was 7.15 percent in the morning, 9.85 percent in the afternoon, 3.83 percent in the evening, and 7.58 percent at night.Among the major markets, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the strongest contributors on Day 14 with around Rs 1.10 lakh crore.Karnataka added around Rs 15 lakh while Tamil Nadu contributed around Rs 7 lakh. The remaining markets generated close to Rs 1 lakh.Maa Inti Bangaram is directed by PV Nandini Reddy, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing the role of Swarna, a seemingly ordinary daughter-in-law whose hidden past is gradually revealed through the story.“Samantha anchors the film with confidence and conviction,” ETimes wrote when reviewing the film.
She moves comfortably between quieter emotional scenes and physically demanding action sets, never allowing Swarna to become a one-note action heroine. There is solidity in the performance, but there is also fatigue, fear and weakness. These shades make the character more compelling than the invincible heroes we often see in the genre.
