Chidambaram’s Balan: The Boy continues to maintain a steady performance at the box office. The emotional drama managed to hold up during the weekdays, recording only a slight decline in its collections.According to Sakneelak, the film collected an estimated Rs 45 lakh (Indian nett) on the 12th day. The latest figure represents a decline of 2.2 per cent compared to Rs 46 lakh earned on the 11th day.

‘Balan: The Boy’ has taken its India net collection to Rs 16.43 crore. The film’s total collection in India now stands at Rs 19.04 crore.The thriller added an estimated Rs 10 lakh on the 12th day, taking the film’s overseas total to Rs 11.20 crore.‘Balan’s global collection has now reached Rs 30.24 crore. The emotional drama earlier concluded its first week with an estimated net revenue of INR 11.29 Crores and maintained a stable trend during its second week.
Occupancy rates in “Palan”
The Malayalam original version of ‘Balan: The Boy’ recorded an overall occupancy of 20.90 per cent on the 12th day.The morning shows recorded an occupancy rate of 10.58 percent, while the afternoon occupancy rate improved to 12.92 percent.
The evening shows recorded an occupancy rate of 15.17 percent. Night screenings once again emerged as the strongest performer at 25.58 percent, indicating that evening audiences continue to support the film.Kerala made a total of around Rs 44 lakh and Karnataka added around Rs 5 lakh while Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and remaining markets contributed around Rs 1 lakh on the 12th day.
