The first week of Love Island, USASeason 8 of the series rose to the top of Nielsen’s streaming charts, recording its biggest premiere numbers to date.

The unscripted series, which airs new episodes six days a week, earned 1.31 billion minutes of viewing time for the week of June 1-7, ranking first overall for the week. Love Island It was also very high compared to the premiere week of 2025 (772 million minutes), where it was up 69 percent year over year.
