Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced $26 million in charitable donations to more than a dozen organizations across the country ahead of the couple’s wedding this weekend.
A representative for Swift sent out a press release on Monday confirming the $26 million and listing 20 different organizations receiving money ranging from food banks to after-school programs and hospitals. While widespread media reports confirmed that the wedding will take place this week at Madison Square Garden, the statement did not mention anything about the wedding.
Among the organizations Swift and Kelce have donated to are the Food Bank of New York City, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the ASPCA, After-School All-Stars, and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Excitement around Swift and Kelsey’s wedding reached a fever pitch this week as the day appears to be drawing near. Just this morning, New York Times An NYPD memo shared some of the plans for the party, which details a smaller rehearsal dinner for about 100 people at Madison Square Garden this evening, with a larger celebration for about 1,000 people on July 3.
Despite ongoing reports, Swift, Kelce, and their team have not made any public comment about their wedding, and some fans still believe that everything that’s been happening might be some kind of elaborate ruse.
The duo’s wedding comes three years after they started dating in 2023. They officially announced their engagement last August, sharing an Instagram post that read: “English teacher and gym teacher are getting married.”
